Trash Policy
Welcome to University Pointe!
We're committed to keeping our community clean and enjoyable for everyone. Here's what you need to know about our trash policy:
Building A : Valet Trash pick up from your front door every day at 10:00am - 10:45am
Building B : Residents, please bring your trash bags tied up to the trash room located next to the elevator on each floor. Valet trash will no longer be picked up from the front blue doors. PICK UP TIME 10:45am - 11:45am
Building C : Valet Trash pick up from your front door every day at - 11:45am - 1:00pm
Building D : 1st floor only: trash must be taken to the trash compactor located by building D.
All other floors 2,3, and 4, trash should be discarded in the trash room in-front of the staircase next to units 201, 301, 401 of each floor. Daily PICK UP time will be 2:00pm - 2:45pm from the large bins of each floor.
Building E : Residents, please bring your trash bags tied up, to the nearest trash bins, located in every exit door to the garage. Valet trash will not go into the hallways of the building. Daily PICK UP TIME will be 3:30pm-4:30pm.
Building F : Valet Trash pick up from your front door every day at 9:00am - 10:00am
Building G : 1st floor residents only: please take your trash bags tied up to the left or right side ( outside of the building), by the exits. There will be a large bin for you to discard your trash there. All other floors: 2, 3, and 4 should discard your trash bags tied up in the large bins located next to the elevator next to the window. PICK UP TIME will be 2:45pm- 3:30pm.
Rules are as follows: • Use plastic trash bags, not paper bags. Don't leave loose trash in the cans. Place all your trash inside the trash bins. • Secure liquids and broken glass separately. Place plastic or glass containers in plastic bags tied up. • Break down boxes and fold them neatly and take them to the dumpster next to building A or D.
Any piece of furniture or large trash MUST be taken to the compactors. If left outside the unit on the hallway, fees will apply. • Clean up spills and messes; don't leave them for housekeeping. Dumpsters are located on the east (by pool) and west (by bang D) sides of the property.
Remember, violations of the trash policy may result in a minimum fine of $50 per incident.
